In pigment grinding applications, Surfynol CT-231 improves
colour development by superior wetting of the pigment
particles and controls the mill base foam. It provides low
viscosity at high pigment loadings and excellent dispersion
stability. Use levels are between 3% and 15% on dry
pigment weight, depending on the pigment (also see the
brochure “Surfynol Surfactants for Pigment Grinding”). It is
commonly formulated in combination with anionic
surfactants, such as Surfynol CT-141 dispersant. |
